This means I've got to get a double dose of Maze in Las Vegas...enough to last through the month of November....The people in DC are about to go through "withdrawal" and it "ain't" going to be easy, especially when you are in need of a Maze fix. Comments: Uncle (sorry you're like one of my cool Uncles--laughing)Frankie...who do we contact to COMPLAIN! I mean really this is so not fair. I think everyone should inundate DAR Constitution Hall will phone calls and emails. This is crazy. My family and I eat good on Thursday and then sweat off the extra pounds on Friday/Saturday night. Comments: I have been refusing to believe that Thanksgiving in D.C. will not be the same for me this year!! I'm still not accepting it until Thanksgiving comes and goes with no MAZE at Constitution Hall! While I am VERY THANKFUL for my FAMILY and other BOUNTIFUL BLESSINGS...a part of my spirit will not be the same!! I think back to the first MAZE Thanksgiving Weekend at Constituion Hall that I remember attending in 1985. Natalie Cole was the opening act on her way back to the top! Frankie and the guys did 2 shows a night for both nights!! That was as much a tradition in itself! Nothing short of a family emergency could keep me from attending atleast 2 of the 4 shows that weekend! The feeling I got from those shows was incredible! Little did I know that they would only get better with time! I have "not missed a single D.C. show since"! I feel a little sad at the moment but only for a moment. I'm going to put on the song "Ain't It Strange" (how things do change)and reflect a little more then I'll be BACK IN STRIDE AGAIN!! PEACE! MAZE 19/29/2010 6:17:00 PM
