In the radio, DJ, and Burning up the airwaves with all the great music that makes all R&B music lover, at the end of the relax and have peace of mind. Now this BIG JAM is in the YAM CENTER in Opelousas, La. Now the question is will you be there. Comments: I am off the chain to hear about the tribute to Frankie Beverly & Maze. This has been a long time coming. I am a part-time Chicago DJ and I made a guestbook post on this site a year ago. I had the pleasure for the first time last year seeing Frankie Beverly & Maze perform live at, The Chicago Theatre. The performance was musically sheer , Maze, amazing !!!! As, a club DJ I was always playing their music in the clubs for the steppers but I never had a chance to see this group perform live. Frankie Beverly's voice sounds awesome today as it did yesterday ! Frankie Beverly & Maze are music legends in their own time and can still make you move today ! Frankie Beverly & Maze is one of the best bands around and they deserve a lifetime acheivement award. The tribute CD will hit the music stores sometime late September. Comments: Pat, It's very sad to report that I haven't been to a MAZE concert since they appeared here in Buffalo last year March!! So....you know I am having a fit! I have attempted to travel to other cities but something always came up where it didn't manifest. I have every intention on going to DC for the meet and greet. The concert in Buffalo was the first of Maze in a long time. I think I last saw him in the mid 80's here at Sheas Buffalo. After that I kind of fell off the map, so to speak. But I'mmmm baaaccckkk!!! I am looking forward to seeing Maze more often. It's just something about them performing that takes me there!! You know what I mean?? I think my forwardness may have set them back a bit. Here comes a girl they never heard of and now all of a sudden they are receiving all types of love from me. I mean no harm, you guys...I just love me some Frankie Beverly and Maze. I guess they have to weed out the crazies and when the dust has settled, they will see that my love is genuine.9/30/2009 8:34:00 AM
