Do you remember back in "96 at the Atlanta Civic Center a young Brother showed you an art work Dedicated to YOU and the memorories of MARIVN GAYE, called " GAINING THROUGH LOSING " . The poem off your " CAN'T STOP THE LOVE " LP. You sign it while in your dressing room after your preformance? It was shaped as a dollar bill, but it was a zero ($000 ) dollar with MLK jr. and Malcom X. plus other things. Well my Bro. that guy was I. It made my LIFE!!!!meeting you,thank you. I still have a printed copy, plus a large photo you and I took together that evening. You are an inspiration, and The Messenger. Keep on giving from yout heart, in other words " DON'T STOP THAT LOVIN FEELIN ". One more thing , I was always touched by the album cover of "WE ARE ONE" that cover is DEEP!!! Comments: All these years the "love and happy feelings" that pour from the music made by Frankie Beverly and Maze have always been extra special gifts to me ... and then I became a trivia contest winner. Wow! Does this make me a "groupie"? I do understand that there was a 'grading curve'. Thanks Frankie. Somebody define "groupie" for me, and if you won't do that, tell me what you think Frankie and Maze are singing about when they sing "everyone must make their own kind of love in their own kind of way"? I mean could it simply mean that we all have our unique ways (words, gifts, flowers,sacrifice, time, money, etc.) of showing and giving love to others or are they acknowledging different lifestyles.
