Comments: Sunday, 8/25 Quote of the evening: "What chall talkin bout some 'Go Frankie! Go Frankie!' I'm 67 years old, man!" But yet, that sho didn't stop a brother from doing "The Trampoline" during "Running Away"! LOL Thanks for that mesmerizing "last live show" at the Gibson (Universal) Amphitheatre here in Los Angeles! Sad that it's closing in September due to some new Harry Potter attraction, but what fond memories of various real music concerts past, that were had. In this day and age, thank you for allowing this native of Detroit to dwell in the land of Musicianship last Sunday night. Even though I attended alone and was one of the youngest at 40 , I felt right at home with some real down home folk!(ha!)I look forward to seeing you all on my next solo, weekender adventure to Ontario, CA in November! Oh, and may I PLEASE humbly ask if you would add to your repertoire on a future tour/show the song, "I Need You" circa (1975 at Winterland)? Maaaaan that song and that performance/arrangement...man oh man oh man...hmph I can't even explain it...it's absolutely surreal to me... If you don't do it nothin' but one time that's fine wit me, just make sure I know the time and place! LOL Hey, "ask and you shall receive" ain't that what you said you believe?
