Comments: Mr.B., it is so overwhelming reading all the post from Philly and Cincinnati...I literally have tears in my eyes from all this "Love"...Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly are so aMazing, that it just leaves you with a feeling of so much "Happiness"...And we thank you for being there for us! Comments: Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly, APPLAUSE, KUDOS, AND MUCH LOVE!!! Caught the show at the Mann Theatre this past Sunday, July 29, 2007. Amazing how yah'll deliver nothing but the best time after time after time. Your music is timeless and at 56 years young I still not only listen but repurchase songs released 25-30 years ago as if they just became hits today. Your music bares no generational boundaries as it has been passed down thru my family for 30 thirty years. Frankie, you DO PHILLY REAL PROUD. Not only as an artist, but as a man. Your testimony of thankfulness to Jesus in your closing rendition of I Wanna Thank You was realization of why you remain at the top of list artist. It was a joy to have you home. Allergies and sinuses won't let loose of a sistah,but I'll be there live and in color, regardless of congestion, headaches, burning/puffy/itchy and watery eyes. Just wanted to check in this morning and let you and everyone here in MAZE-land know what a wonderful time I had last night at my very first Frankie Beverly performance in Philly. As you all know, Frankie was raised in Philly and the Mann was packed. And this was a Sunday night show!! You could feel the excitement in the air as soon as you walked in. In fact, people were so excited that nobody even paid any attention to the comedian who opened the show. First, let me give props to Ashford and Simpson, who shared the stage with Frankie and who were as fantastic as ever!! They opened the show and set the stage on fire and got the house rocking. It was Awesome!!! Then MAZE and Frankie appeared and the place roared. I go to a lot of R&B shows and I have never seen anything quite like this. It was phenomenal!! A non-stop party!! Frankie was clearly touched by it all and told us how how much it meant for him to play in his hometown and receive such an overwhelming warm response from the crowd. He was jamming up on that stage!!! It is so amazing how the response from the crowd can inspire the performer. And MAZE, is aMAZEing!!! I have no words to describe how awesome they are. But I am sure everyone here knows this. It was so good to be able to stand up and dance and not have people behind you saying, "sit down." People came to party, NOT to be entertained. Comments: My husband and celebrated our 29th anniversary this past weekend at the Macy's music festival in Cincinnati (we drive down from Chicago) and you are still amazing. We have been listening to you during our entire 29 years together. Keep on doing what your doing!!!
