Comments: Hello to Frankie and the Maze band and hello back to the familiar crew * Joe D.* Reve` G.* and * Patrick *. In Memphis July 28, 2002, It`s always good to see and greet y`all again. I`m glad I have made my 3 and a 1/2 hours travel one way from Lewisburg, Tn. (45 miles south of Nasville of I-65). But I used the by-passing highways going west meeting I-40 toward Memphis. At night around 1 or 2 am. I had to be gone. But I stop and lodge around 4 am when I got drousy. Well I made it back to my home town safely anyway. Now back to the Memphis concert at the Pyramid Arena. ___(Good Luck and Bad Luck news)___. When I got to the parking area. Some person told me that The Isley Brothers, not gonna be there. Patti LaBelle and Maze gonna be there. After that, I went inside the Pyramid Arena. I saw the change over of the stage that the Patti LaBelle crew removing the music equipment off the stage. Someone else told me that Patti LaBelle show is cancelled, and said The Isley Brothers are coming. ***Bad Luck*** Maze happened to be the 1st show and The Isley Brothers happened to be last. ***Good Luck***Maze was in the house and still the same turn out. This is my 1st time knowing this backwards confusion. For the Maze concert. I`m proundly glad I giving Frankie the TOUR 2002 plaque at his show. Far as the plaque goes. A few fans gave me compliments. It`s all yours Frankie. Next, It`s a great welcome to see Ron Smith returning back. To the TOUR 2002 plaque , I have the photo of the Frankie`s Angels ***Lilly***Gwen***and***Sandra*** and myself***Walter*** on the back side of the plaque. I got the photos developed. For all that have had the pleasure of hearing you play with Maze over the years, it is going to be such a treat to be able to see & hear you work that magic on those strings again! Talking about "Happy Feelings', I know you were definitely feeling a few after being up onstage again with Frankie, Bug, Roame and Robin and the rest of the guys. Comments: Brother Calvin...Thanks so much for showing others that you just "Can’t Stop the Love" when Frankie Beverly & Maze in the house! For 35 years and still going strong, there is definitely a hold that Maze still has on their fans...it's called the "Maze Ghost!" Once the music hits your soul, there are "Happy Feelings" touching people everywhere, you are on your feet from the start of Maze’s opening until Frankie hits the crowd with some "Before I Let Go!" You just can’t sit down! And if Frankie has been closing out his shows with "I Wanna Thank You", I tell you will just have to catch a sista because you would be floating on Cloud 9! Comments: Brother Maze! Wonderful to see you that you have finally made contact and landed here on the Maze guestbook! Have seen you onstage at most of the Maze shows and whether it is on stage or off, we know that you have truthfully felt the love of the "Maze Craze!" See that you have endured some "changing times" in your life, but it is a blessing to know that your strengthen & faith in God has pulled you through and enabling you to share your life with us. They say that God can move mountains...and you my brotha have spiritually moved us all through your inspirational story! Congrats on your new van!
