Comments: Message for Frankie, Did you know that here in England, there is a music scene known as Northern Soul where the devotees still dance to tunes made by you with the Butlers. The favourites are Laugh Laugh Laugh, Because of My Heart and If That's What You Wanted. Bet You'd forgotten these sounds? The Northern Soul scene has reborn soul legends long forgotten (unlike yourself) such as Eddie Holman, Chuck Jackson and Edwin Starr who has moved to England purely because of the scene. I myself am into both the Maze sound and through pure taste in quality soul of all ages the northern soul stuff too. Like to know if you were aware of this scene?7/30/1999 7:21:00 PM

It is already hot enough here in Dallas, but when you guys took the stage on July 3rd, you set the Starplex and everyone in it on fire!!!! You guys really worked!!! You know that I've listened to your music since I was a child, and there is no greater band in the world!!!! There isn't another band out there who's music and lyrics move my heart, spirit, and soul as yours does. (And of course the funky beats make my body move). Comments: Frankie and Maze, I have been a follower of your group since the first album. I remember listening to it play while we had fun in the park at home in South Carolina. I entered the Air Force an went to take a look at California. Man, your music led me that way and I found my Lady of Magic there. We could listen to your music all day and night and most of the time we did. I thank you guys for the great music and concerts that you have given to us. I saw you in London at the Hammersmith Odeon and you were phenomenal there also. You are a worldwide band and I was proud to turn some of my British friends on to your music. Comments: My husband and I are huge fans of Maze. I recently purchased tickets to the Hope Fest that will be taking place at the uic pravilion in Chicago Il on august 6. It's been a while since I saw Maze live. This time I brought tickets early and struck gold. I finally got front row seats. I even brought my mother in law,Lillian, a ticket as a surprise birthday present. Lillian and I haven't spoken since a falling out earlier this year. I really miss her company and her conversations. She really loves Maze and, she like me, has never been in the front row of one of the concerts, not even the free ones. I hope this will help her understand how much I miss and appreciate her. I've gotten this feeling from the very first time I listened to your sound (LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS). Okay, Okay, so I'm not one of your oldest fans but I'm definetely one of your largest. I would say I'm a #1 fan and I'm a SOUTHERN GIRL at that. You probably noticed me because I was the only one standing up and singing the entire concert. State side that would not be that adnormal but in Japan it was but I didn't care - your music takes me there no matter where I am. I've never listened to one group and had their music touch vertually almost every aspect of my life and inner spirit. When i listen to your music I reflect on my past and look forward to the future. Some cuts trigger my conscience concerning my life, morals and marriage. 'YOU, BEFORE I LET YOU GO, AND JOY & PAIN' are just a few that I'll mention. Then there is that side of your music that keeps that feeling of hope for the future alive. After all, WE really ARE ONE and WE all NEED LOVE. LOVE IS THE KEY and IN YOUR OWN KIND OF WAY you express it so well. NOBODY KNOWS WHAT YOU FEEL INSIDE, but you most defintely seem to know. I WANNA THINK YOU. No one has captured the essence of love, life, peace and unity quite like you. You and Marvin are defintely insinct. What you did with SILKY SOUL in the commerence of Marvin Gaye was the best. The wordsin that song clearly captured the essence of Marvin Gaye. What can I say.....YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN with your music. You will always have A PLACE IN MY HEART. You are a LOVELY INSPIRATION and I WANNA THINK YOU again. Please don't stop, the world needs more music like yours (music that speaks to our hearts and conscience). PS...You already have the lifetime achievement award in my book....I'm a REAL FAN, a REAL PERSON, with REAL DEEP FEELINGS..... I FEEL YOU ....GAIL HICKS
