I am soooooo excited...tomorrows the big day...now I did just get married on thursday for the first time in my 59 years so that was a pretty big darn day for ME, my hubbyhoneybuns is coming to the show in Philly with me on 7/27 and I pray he will bear with me tomorrow so that I can be parked in front of my tv at 7:55p.m....CONGRATULATIONS FRANKIE BEVERLY AND MAZE....WHEW HEW! I write this to say Thank You Carl, Calvin, Jubu, Larry and Vance for carrying a Tradition of Greatness that some of History's best Musicians could not carry out or on, without missing a beat or rhythm, THANK YOU and may God Bless your steps wherever you tread. See I come from a time when Maze featuring Frankie Beverly didnt have Angels (that you could see lol) or an Entourage all they had where "Soulful Hippie" Fans and Roadie's. So on the eve of one of no doubt The Greatest Bands of all time Frankie Bevely and Maze receving no greater award than truly a "LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD". I want to step back just for a moment and say THANK YOU WAYNE THOMAS, ROBIN DUHE, JOE PROVOST, RON SMITH, The Quiet Spirit ROAME LOWRY and OMG The Electricfying SAM PORTER AND Spellbinding MCKINLEY "BUG" WILLIAMS for setting the Standard of Excellence in this Music that has Transcending Time and broken all Color and Age barriers, that which truly makes FRANKIE BEVERLY The Master of The Ceromony. All of Maze from then and now have with MAZE Music successfully completed a Journey of Love in The Revolution of R&B Music that no other music can conquer and that has literally stopped time then and still has it on pause now. Nothing but "HAPPY FEELINGS" you guys are The Greatest and no doubt touched by GOD himself. Comments: Happy Saturday, We are one day away from Happy Sunday. Did y'all hear Steve Harvey on Friday? He played "Golden Time of the Day" in honor of our guys....Some people have started their celebration early. I'm wearing my favorite Maze tee-shirt as I speak. Tomorrow I'm going with the all white. Please post all celebration pictures on our new FACEBOOK page. You'll find us at......Frankie Beverly and Maze International Day. This page is for all. I have gotten several requests asking how to become one of Frankie's Angels. Consequently, we do have a membership drive yearly.....This simply puts your name on the official record that I keep so that we can communicate with each other. Thus we have on the record and off the record angels. If that makes any sense??? How many angels do we have? Even I have lost count. I do know how many are on record. For those that want to get on record, I'll get back to you during the membership drive which will be coming up in the Fall. Well, it's hot here in Savannah, but I'm just chillin' and waiting for tomorrow. Don't forget to post your pictures/acitivites/whatever to show how you are celebrating "Frankie Beverly and Maze International Day" on facebook. Since then, we have been communicating via FB and cell phone. I have a "HUGE" favor to ask of you? Since I am unable to attend the concert on the 14th, would it be possible for my dear friend to meet you back stage for the Both of us?
