Comments: I had the opportunity to see Maze at the Holiday Star Theatre in Merriville, Indiana, on June 27. I've seen Maze in concert many times but this by far was the best performance I've ever seen from any artist. Mr. Beverly's voice was stronger than in years past...AND THE BAND WAS GREAT. I credit the bands performance mainly to the steady and tight drummer. Who just so happened to be Mr. Beverly's Son. THE BOY WAS TIGHT.. THANK YOU FOR THE FINE PERFORMANCE, IT WILL BE REMEBERED FOR A LIFETIME.. P.S. OUT OF 5 MAZE CONCERT I'VE ATTENDED I'VE YET TO HEAR ""southern girl""..Guess I gotta go to the next one, right? Have a blessed day..maze fan..6/30/2004 11:19:00 AM

Comments: Hello everyone in Mazeland! I just wanted to say that I think it is an utter shame that our favorite band, Maze & Frankie B. are being overlooked by OUR music community. It has been known and proven for years that this group of talented men are one of the best r&b talents of our day. So why is it that a network that is supposed to be for US continues to disregard them?? Every year I watch their awards ceremony, and every year there is no mention of Maze & Frankie Beverly. But continually there is numerous mentions of ICONS all over the place. I just hope this very same network does a better job than our counterparts by not waiting for this talented group of men to pass before giving them the props they deserve. Wave your hands if you feel me!!! We love you guys!!! deep in the heart of texas!!6/30/2004 10:58:00 AM

Comments: Dear Frankie & Maze Band members,I've been a fan for over 30 years I grew up on your music,my father was a DJ back in the day and my mom is one of your biggest fans. July of every year takes so long to get here because I know that concert is coming, I start making arrangements early so I won't miss that concert. My mom and dad have since passed on to a better place but they have left me with the tradition of going to the Maze concert and this year I'm going to take my oldest son with me instead of a date, this will be his first concert, and I know he will enjoy himself instead of going to the concert at the Smirnoff Center we are going to make a vacation out of it and go the LA. to the Essence Festival. I know your going to show us a good time and I can't wait to see you there Fan to the very end your friend Lelee6/29/2004 11:04:00 PM

Comments: Hello Mazeland just checking in as always I pray that all are safe and well. Finally got the chance to catch my breath! First of all, have a new granddaughter Mailyah Diann, born Wednesday June 16th weighing in at 7lbs 3ozs big girl, little mom. My son Rahmon is the proud father! Maliyah was not due until today, but this young lady came just as I was leaving for Charlotte, NC to see my favorite band Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly. Guess she wanted some "Happy Feelings" too:-). Anyway I made it through L&D and got to Charlotte on Thursday. Now to Charlotte this concert was off the hook & chain. Gerald LeVert, & Mr. Comin From Where I'm From (Charlotte's on) Anthony Hamilton, put on great shows. Anthony was so nice, he came out after his show signed autographs and took pictures. "Thanks" Anthony for being you. Now to the main event when Frankie and Maze hit the stage the electricity was definately high voltage. Mazeland, they put on a wonderful show playing hit after hit, the electric slide was in full effect all over the place. Since it was Father's Day weekend, I presented Frankie with a dozen yellow roses from Frankie's Angels and Walter presented Frankie with a lovely plaque dedicated in memory of our dear sister Lilly Smith. There were so many happy feelings that night. The hospitality from the people of this fine city reminded me of home. To my angel sisters and brothers that traveled to Charlotte, words cannot express the fellowship we shared. Let'd do it again! Kenny Lee, so nice to finally meet you. Ava, we had that sway on "big" time good seeing you again. Next stop Essence Music Festival, where Maze will receive an award for 10 years of performing at this wonderful fest. As a devoted fan I'm so proud (God willing) to be able to be in the house for this momentous occasion. Hold the roof down! LaTanya, the Dome is about to blow:-). We have 2 buses 80 + friends and family attending this year. Well I'm out of here for now. Please pray that we have a safe trip and to all traveling the same to you. Shout outs to everyone. Don't forget continue to pray for world peace and eachother. LTA Frankie's Angel, Reba6/29/2004 8:24:00 PM
