Comments: Hello Mazeland. Just a short note to say Thank You, Thank You, Thank You...for the calls, cards, emails, prayers and other acts of kindness follwing my brother's passing. The love won't be forgotten. I received a wonderful pick me up on returning home from his funeral, beautiful yellow roses. Only an "angel" could have timed that so perfectly and known that yellow is my favorite color. Betty's entry on the guestbook regarding Bruce was perfect...he was indeed the greatest Frankie Beverly and Maze fan ever. I can't think of anyone more devoted to the music of Maze than Bruce was. Comments: A note to Frankie, Glad to see things have gone well for you professionally. I was a young 19 year old in the summer of 1972 when you and the other Raw Soul members were here in Stuart, Iowa awaiting repairs to your bus.A couple of the guys stayed at our farm house for a few days. It was quite an exciting event for the small town residents. I even remember being allowed to sing with you on stage at a performance in an Atlantic, Iowa bar. I can still remember your "Mother Nature".At times I do some writing and would like to do an article about that summer of 1972 in Stuart, Iowa. Would you agree to be interviewed for it, either phone or email? Hope things continue going great for you and I have often thought about that summer and the great people we got to know like you, Slim, Tee, and Cannonball. Please email me back if we could work on an article of reflection about your brief detour in Stuart, IA and how life has been the past 32 years.
