Comments: I just read your message from Frankie. I am one of those kids that were born in the 60's... June 27, 1961. And, in spite of my 20 year addiction, I still was an ok person. In fact, people used to tell me, you're beautiful people Darla, you're just messed up on that stuff. That was a tine when you did something wrong, if a neighbor saw you do it, not only would you get a whoopin' from them but they would by the time you got home or took you home and told your parent what they did and why they did it. Then you got another one from home. That was when if you got into a fight, it was a fair fight, one on one. No gang beatings, nothing like that. People back then fought with fists, no guns, no bats, none of that. I think these kids these days are so afraid of fighting that they shoot. Those were the days when we were in church almost every day of the week. When getting a pair of $5 sneakers was a treat. If you were to do that today, you are insulting the person. I agree, taking God out of the pledge and out of schools, out of Gov't buildings has caused turmoil that they will never understand. When you have taken God out for the people's own good, He won't be there when the good isn't so good anymore.11/30/2008 5:17:00 AM

Comments: just attended your DC concert 11/29/08 and my wife, my mother and i had a ball as usual. I was just as amazaed as you were to find out this was some people first time seeing you after many years. I need to find out how can i order a large navy blue/lite blue pinstripe MAZE hat to add to my collection of the black and white ones. Comments: I found out about the show in Oakland TOO late, I was working in Sacramento, CA. I was hoping that you were doing a show in Sacramento, CA in the near future..Other and/or when are you coming back to Oakland? I will take that weekend OFF!! My husband when I was married would always sing your songs to me I just want to see you live.
