Comments: In response to Cynthia’s query about favorite Maze songs and memories attached, I offer up this one. It was on a winter night WAAAAYYY back in the day, just before they hooked up with Marvin and “tore it open”. They were at a little club called “The Scene” In S.F. The crowd was kind of jabbering away and all of a sudden the guys broke into Happy Feelings and slowly but surely everyone kind of hushed up and started swayin’ and getting in the groove of what has always been one of my favorite songs. That song has the power to just grab people into its current and pulls them with the flow. Then, to make things even more surreal, as the band packed up that night and stepped outside….it was SNOWING! This was San Francisco people. It doesn’t snow there. But it did that night. My friends informed me on my facebook page that you guys were commin to ST. LOUIS, (I know that's Jesus)...I am doing everything that I can to try and make it to the meet&greet started getting discourged because of financial reasons. I have yet to loose hope, still I know I WILL get a chance to see you guys in my home town:))))))...I really wanna do both, that's just how much I LOVE U GUYS. Comments: I asked Frankie's Angels to post on our facebook page the best Maze song that triggered their fondest memory and tell us why and some of the responses made me cry. My song was "Feel that I'm Wanted" because when I really turned Charles on to Maze, we use to drive up in the mountains and of course, we would be singing along to our Maze tunes....He tried to turn me on to Bobby Blue Bland, but that just wasn't working for me, so I turned him on to Maze.....Before we were married, he told me that "Feel that I'm Wanted" was his favorite Maze song and everything I hear that song, I think about those beautiful rides up in the mountains. Comments: I attended The Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly Concert In Atlantic City Concert Earlier This Month And Some May Think I'm Biased, BUT THE TRUTH IS THE TRUTH! There Are Many Artist That Try To Re-Invent Themselves AFTER An Hiatus, But THIS BAND Does IT Right Before Our Eyes...CONTINUOUSLY! Each Time I See And Hear Them, There's Always A Different Element Even Though The Songs May Be The Same. I Was Happy When They Added Lady Of Magic And While I'm Alone, But This Time, It Was The Crowd That Added THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE! I Often Marvel At The Energy Generated At A Maze Concert And Enjoy The Crowd Participation, But THIS TIME....Frankie Would Adlib For The Crowd To, "Help Me, Y'all," And Boy Did They Respond! IT SOUNDED AS IF ANGELS WERE ACTUALLY SINGING BACKGROUND FOR THE GROUP! They Were In Unison, In Tune AND DEFINITELY, IN THE SPIRIT! When The Band Ended With, I Wanna Thank You, I Had No Doubt About WHO WAS IN ATTENDENCE!!! THAT SPIRIT IS STILL WORKING WITHIN Me As I Write This Weeks After The Experience. Continued Happy Feelings, Y'all!
