Comments: Hey fellas, Greetings from South Bend, IN!!!!!! I have been a devoted fan of the group since 1978. Since that time my family have become familiar fixtures at the concerts in Northern Indiana,especially the ones in Merriville, thanks to my longtime close friend Robin Duhe who always 'hooks us up' when you guys are in this area. My older children grew up going to Maze concerts and my 14 year old Tia. She's especially partial to Ron, whom she missed terribly at the concert on October 18th. My scrapbook is filled with photos from 1978 until Oct 18th. and I got a chance to give Robin one from days gone by. I have many, many more that I hope someday to share with the group. Old face that are no longer with you and are great memories for me. Everyone here in South Bend knows that I am probably the most fanatical, diehard and loyal fan that the group has and I've got the photos to prove it!!! It was great seeing you and the guys personally in Merriville because it has been about ten years since I had the pleasure of seening you up close and and personal. Please tell Robin thanks (again) for the guest tickets and back stage passes. Thanks to all of you for another concert that was definitely 'the Bomb' as always. I recently heard from Donnie Simpson, on October 29, 1998 that the upcoming show at Constitution Hall had to be cancelled because you were not feeling well, I hope that its nothing too serious, and I hope that you get well real soon. Comments: When I was in the Air Force, I had a friend from New Orleans. We had a conversation about concerts and what groups who gave everyone their money worth. He bragged 'Big-Time' about Frankie Beverly & Maze. When I first seen Maze it was in Baltimore at the Inner Harbor. The surroundings, being there with my wife, it was a wonderful evening. But when the music started to play, I heard someone singing along with the band, it was me. And then I thought of my friend and if he were here, I would tell him I was wrong! LUV YA! Comments: Frankie, I was soooooo upset to find last week that you were in Merrillvile, IN. I saw you there 2 yrs ago, (7/20/96), last yr in Indy (11/13/97) & this year at the Indiana Black Expo (7/19/98). I was angry that the show was cut short. Maze concerts are never that short, but, I must say, it still had the Maze craze & that party that we all love. Hopefully, this won't keep you from coming back. I heard about the benefit you did (St Stevens MB Church) in Louisville, KY, my home town (missed it too). Are you going to do a Christmas CD? Looking forward to your next album. Comments: I was in New Orleans on business two weeks ago and the cab driver was singing a positive tune from Frankie Beverly & Maze (can't remember what its called) along with the music from the radio. He was stunned that i never heard of the group and he gave me a whole history about these musicians and encouraged me to buy the 'Live From New Orleans' album.
