Comments: To Big Sister Cynthia, here's wishing you an early Happy Birthday. My sister you are a fabulous Fifties lady!!!. Thanks you always for your love, laughter, kindness and support. God blesses me daily by having you as my sister. I saw a quote that reminded me of you. It goes as follows: "By taking time to step outside our own sphere to embrace others, we open ourselves up to the power of the Spirit. We are suddenly lit up from inside, and this illumination transforms our appearance more effectively than any fancy salon makeover." by Sarah Ban Breathnach. My sister my friend I love you. Comments: Hello Family I hope all is well with all. I received an email that initially addressed supporting "Antwone Fisher" which led my thoughts to other issues. One of the comments was "Antwone Fisher is a positive movie that celebrates the African American spirit. Mr. Fisher was quoted as saying, "He's still standing. They couldn't destroy him. Let's show Hollywood, they can't destroy our positive images either". I remember an opportunity when I had a chance to see and hear Nelson Mandela speak right after his release from prison. It was an amazing experience and you could feel the energy that moved in through and around that room. He was electrifying. As opposed to bemoaning his life as to what it had been he focused on the positive. His imprisonment allowed him a sense of freedom in that he had time to be quiet and listen to the message that God had for him. God is the only one that had the ability to deliver him from evil with a sane mind and sound body. I know there are some that don't agree with Mr. Mandela's words on the impending war that will surely send us into Armageddon, but each one of us is entitled to our own opinion. The media will make much of this in a negative light but we cannot let the media destroy the positive image we have of Nelson Mandela. He is openly saying what others are also thinking and saying behind the scenes. America has its own ills to heal-Why after all this time is there still inequality, homelessness, blatant civil rights discrimination, poverty and a very unstable economic climate. At 84, I think he knows whereof he speaks. There are choices that we all have to make in life. What we are facing now in part is due to those who were apathetic about voting in the last election. Quite the contrary, one person's vote does matter. The lesson for me based on past life experiences is that sometimes not saying NO(which isn't always a negative) can allow negative forces and people to spread their negativity. I know I must be an instrument for peace and love. Oh lord, I went off didn't I. Oh well when the spirit leads you, you must follow. Much love to all. Connie1/30/2003 6:37:00 PM

Comments: Frankie, For those of us who really know what love is, we can't say we love and want war. I just want to live my life in "love" and in "peace" and I want the same for everybody. War may be the answer for our leaders, but it's not the answer for me! Prayer is our hope and maybe if enough of us pray, it will change the situation. On another note, I am so happy to hear you say that you are going to slow down and place your energy and focus on your new album. Do what you got to do, my brother. There's one sure thing about your fans and your angels, "we will be right here, waiting for you! We "ain't" going nowhere!" Your Angel, Cynthia1/30/2003 4:16:00 AM

Comments: Good morning Frankie and all of Mazeland. I'm up getting my sons off to school and cherishing every single moment of it. This is what I want to wake up to every morning, not this impending war, of which I happen to agree with you my dear brother Frankie for the very reason that you stated. The reasons are so very vague. Vague enough that our allies are holding back. Also, the "powers that be" are trying to put out too many fires at one time and saying that they will go to war with or without our allies. What happened to "peace talks"? Y'all there is so much going on that whether you agree or disagree, anyone who is not praying for Divine intervention, may God have mercy on them because He is the only power who has total control over any and all situations but you have to seek him, that's all He asks. I do have love, admiration, appreciation and respect for those serving in the military because to me, it takes a very special person to dedicate their lives in that manner. Reba, I am continuously praying for world peace. On a lighter note, because we can't give in to the oppressiveness of the threat of war, I'm sending out all my love to all of you this morning and hoping that you will have a very blessed day! Frankie, thanks for last years schedule of concerts, we all got caught up in the moment and it was good for us all even when were just playing catch-up on the website. I'm sure however you bring it to us in 2003, will be just fine! Love & "Happy Feelins" ~Pam Toney~Tennessee~1/29/2003 6:59:00 PM

Comments: Hello Mazeland just checking in! To B. Sanders, I was very touched by your testimony about you and your father, cherish those memories. We here on the web site are seeing a new generation of Maze listeners and we welcome you with open arms. It is always a blessing, to see young people have an appreciation for good quality music. Oh yes those "happy feelins" are in the air! My 2 sons are Maze fans and they remind me that they grew up listening to this music. So now there are two generations of devoted fans oops, I forgot the grandkids that makes three. Go Frankie! I remember one year, I was unable to make it to a show in Cincinnati, my son called me on his cell phone so that I could hear the band grooving. This is a memory that I will always cherish. Shouts outs to Mr.Beverly, Maze, the Angels. God bless us all. "Please Pray For World Peace"! Frankie's Angel Reba1/29/2003 5:53:00 PM

Comments: Hello Mazeland!!! Well this crazy angel is back in New Orleans and trying so hard to recuperate. I keep forgetting I'm a golden girl and need to take it easy.(Hahahahahahaha) A beautiful time was had in LA. Betty was truly the hostess with the mostest. I don't know why she didn't get tired of driving cause she was a driving sister. I really didn't want to leave. We shopped and ate and shopped and ate (as if we needed to do either)all the while listening to Maze.It seemed that whatever we listened to was perfect for that particular moment. It was fantastic. Well next stop Essence. Tickets are going fast... good tickets, that is. Remember how huge the superdome is, so all seats aren't good seats. Love to Frankie, Maze, my angel sisters and brothers and everyone else in Mazeland. Debra C, Frankie's New Orleans Angel. p.s. I'm with you Frankie on this war situation. We're at a point now where all we can do is pray for devine intervention.1/29/2003 7:28:00 AM
